THE NC MACHINING PROCESS,TOOLING DESIGN AND
PROGRAMMING OF THE LEVERAGE
ABSTRACT
With the rapid development of science and increasingly fierce economic competition,
mechanical products update faster and faster.
CNC machining technology as the representative
of the advanced productive forces is a major change in machine industry in recent years, and
plays an important role in the field of machinery and related industries. Correct and practical
processing technology is the key element to show its advantages.
The subject of this design is lever part. Its structure is relatively simple, but its shape is
irregular. From the use of the part , we know that the require of the holes’ size precision is high.
So it is suited to product with CNC machine. Its processing elements are planes and holes, so I
choose XK714D CNC milling machine to achieve its machining process. This paper mainly
include its CNC machining process, design of its fixture, and its CNC machining process
program. It contains the main components in the production cycle of CNC machining. Its
processing technology and the design of fixture are the focus of this thesis.
Comparing with previous design of this type of part, this paper mainly uses the advancing
CNC machining, and uses a fixture to complete all the machining operation of all the required
elements. The operation is more simple and faster. It can increase productivity significantly,
shorten the production cycle, improve production efficiency and market competitiveness.
