国外理工类专业人文素质教育研究综述及启示

　　摘 　要 　人的全面发展是教育的终极目标 , 国外大学主要通过 STS ( Science, Techonology & So

cial) 教育和通识教育两种模式使理工类学生能兼具人文社会科学知识和人文精神 。 STS教育倡导科

学 、技术 、社会教育的一体化 , 通识教育强调人文知识与人文精神的渗透性培养 。教育是相通的 , 国
外学者的理论探索及美 、英 、澳 、日等国的实践探索为我国理工类专业人文素质教育的开展提供了许
多借鉴 。

　　教育的目的是实现人的全面发展 , 而人的发

展是一个世界性议题 , 特别是在世界贸易组织明
确将 “教育 ”列为服务业的部门后 , 更加快了

教育进入全球化竞争的趋势 。因此 , 无论是素质
教育还是人文素质教育 , 都已超越了国家 、民族
和地域的界限 , 成为世界各国共同关注的话题 。
