指数则一度重挫 575 点, 

 

而道琼工业指数也一度大跌 500 多点, 但万万没想到来了一个大反弹, 在尾盘时二个指数居然都只以小跌收场, 实在是太不

可思议了, 像这样的上冲下洗, 是否有如乘坐云霄飞车一般? 

 

所以这在英文中就叫 roller coaster ride, 

 

或是 bumpy ride. 如

果单用一个形容词来形容, 

 

则可以用 volatile, 同样指非常不稳定的, 波动非常大的. 例如, "High techs are extremely 

volatile recently." (近来科技类股波动非常剧烈.)

Rally 是一个常用在运动比赛上的动词, 指的是后来居上. 或是力图振作. 用在股票上则指一开始跌后来却上涨, 这在股市中叫

 

反弹 (rebound)   

或 rally. 

 

至于如果是相反的趋势由涨到跌则是拉回 (pull back), 

 

例如 "After the short rebound in 10a.m. 

the market starts to pull back again." (从早上十点的反弹之后, 股市再度拉回.)
