ABSTRACT

With the development of national standard on drinking water quality,manywater-

quality index and limiting value have been revised between the

 

Sanitary Standard for 

Drinking Water in 1985 and 2006.This paper synsesized the change oflimiting value 

and treatment process of arsenic index between 1985 and 2006;The limiting value of 

fluorine   is  

invariable,but   its   treatment   process   has   been   progressing.  

This   paper 

analysed lots of methods of the removal of arsenic and fluorine . It is important that 

new technologies of removal of arsenic and fluorine can adapt strict drinking water 

standard.
