deck effected by environment and vehicals. these deterioration
would have influence
on performance and lifetime of bridge. The steel fibers reinforced
concrete (SFC)
applied to the deck pavement can improve the mechanical
properties and toughness.
The research results show that multi fibers reinforced concrete can
make up the
insufficiency of single fiber and improve obviously mechanical
properties and
durability of concrete. In this study, the mechanical properties and
durability of the
concretes which are the SF, the steel-fibers and the polypropylene
fibers reinforced
concrete (SF-PFSC) and the SF-PFSC with air-entraining agent (SF-
PFSC+) were
concerned with, and the influence on SF-PFSC durability by adding
air-entraining

EXPERIMENT DESIGN
Based on the researches done by Dun F.Q.,and Zhang E. L (Dun
2008;
Zhang 2008), While the volume ratio of SF and PFS are 0.5~0.7%
respectively,
SF-PFSC presents better mechanical properties and durability, more
volume ratio of
fibre can affect the concrete workability. In this study, the volume
ratio of steel fibre
is 0.7% and PFS is 0.5% in SF-PFSC. The volume ratio of SF is 1.2%
in SFC. the
content of air-entraining agent is 0.03% of amount of cement in SF-
