ABSTRACT

With  the  development  of  modem  industrial  production,  pneumatic 

technology,hydraulic technology, sensor technology, PLC network and communications 
technology,  technology  integration  and  the  formation  of  the  close  hydraulic,  aircraft 
electrical,  mechanical  and  electrical  integration,  automatic  control  technology  optical 
applications  in  industry  production  is  playing  an  increasingly  important  role  in 
automated  production  systems  have  become  an  important  component  of  industrial 
production.  Point.  Germany  FESTO  company  developed  MPS(Modular  Production 
System)modular production system for industrial an automation on a production system 
is based on the electrical machine(liquid) integration technology, PLC control combined 
with  automatic  robot  can  complete  the  processing  and  assembling  of  the  cylinder 
systems.

The subject in this paper si to MPS pneumatic automatic production line detection 

unit as an example, the detection unit of the modular control system. Two main areas of 
work  carried  out,  one  of  the  detection  unit  hardware  circuit  design,  and  second,  to 
design  its  control  system.  To  SIEMENS  S7-200  PLC  as  the  core  control  system, 
complete  detection  unit  and  decomposition  process  of  each  module  to  complete  the 
detailed design,program design, coordination between the modules reasonably designed 
to  transmit  information,  complete  the  online  work  of  each  module  detailed  design 
process.
