Abstract : The traditional separation of methanol distillation problemof high energy
consumption.Make methanol - water system of the multi-effect distillationprocess.Is the use of
high-pressure multi-effect distillationtower overhead vapor latent heat of condensation to heat the
adjacent low-voltagetower bottom material, the two towers the public a heat exchanger to achieve
thepurpose of saving energy and investment.Use of PRO / II software and calculated
thermodynamicmodel Alochol,To simulate the separationof methanol - water system double-
effect, three-effect distillation , four-effect distillation process,The lowest energy consumption
targets,The optimumconditions forthe identification,use of PRO / II software, to calculate the
deviceparameters of each tower,By double-effect, three-effect distillation, four effective process
compared with the single-tower,optimum process scheme,Informed that the double-effect to the
three-way processas the best, and an example of double effect has been to optimize the
process.And completed the hydraulic calculation of the tower。
