A bstract:T his thesis deals w ith the perform ance
of a new type of biofilm filler for processing domestic wasterwater.It is demonstrated that its ability to
treat COD is over 90%;that for total nitrogen has a certain treating effec and the SS value is controlled below 100mg/L ,with shorter HRT (6 hours),
without the requirement of the secondary settling tank, thus,its cost of treatment is lower.

A bstract:T he technicalcharacteristics and treat
ing efficiency of an integrated MBR is introduced. The results of its pilot operation showed that MBR for
treating oil-refining wastewater had good quality of the effluent; the average values of COD, ammonia-nitrogen, oil and phenol in effluent could lower
to 39mg/L, 2mg/L, 3mg/L, and below 0.1mg/L respectively; their removal rate reached to 93%, 90%, 94% and 99.9% respectively, meeting the national
first class discharging standard.
