无锡档案馆

设计立足江南水乡的地域特征，从江南建筑中提取元素提炼组合。建筑造型力求简洁统一，
考虑到档案馆的内部要求及光、温、湿的物理环境，以地方常用的花格窗为图形肌理的实墙
面为主，建筑的色彩以黑、白、灰为主，与江南水乡传统建筑的色彩相协调，同时，这种色
彩具有中国传统水墨画般的宁静和淡雅，入口文化墙采用流传中国几千年的书法艺术，塑
造一个具有档案个性特征的建筑。

The  design  is  based  on  the  regional  features  of  water  towns,  with  the  elements  abstracted  from 
architectures  in  the  south  of  Yangtze  River  for  a  refined  combination.  The  architectural  model 
keeps simple and unified. Due to the requirement on interior physical environment, i.e., lighting, 
temperature and humidity, the brick walls with checkered windows (which are popular in the local 
area) are applied. Black, white and grey are widely used, which matches well with the colors of 
traditional buildings in water towns, south of Yangtze River, and which also embodies the peace 
and simple  elegance of the traditional Chinese ink  painting.  Calligraphy that has  come  down  in 
China  for  several  thousand  years  is  adopted  on  the  culture  wall  at  the  entrance,  providing  an 
architecture with archiving identity.
