The Application of Traditional Auspicious Pattern in Modern Design
Abstract:

Traditional Auspicious Pattern is the treasure in the art history of our country. It has very 

important meaning in modern design, which has been thoroughly elaborated in this article in 
which the following questions will be analyed.

1. The development, nature, moral and classification of Traditional Auspicious Pattern.
2. The   reason   of   widespread   application   in   modern   design   of   Traditional  Auspicious 

Pattern.

3. The specific application in modern design of Traditional Auspicious Pattern.
4. The application principle and trend in modern design of Traditional Auspicious Pattern.

From the analysis and elaboration of these questions, we think that a modern designer should 

perfectly   combine   the   Traditional   Auspicious   Pattern   whit   modern   design   to   adapt   the 
development of modern design through continuous renewal of style and shape.

对中国传统吉祥图案的研究由来已久，众多学者包括史学家、美学家以及

艺家等都针对其吉祥观念、文化蕴藉、题材造型和艺术表现等各个方面作出了

各种判断、探讨和研究，其中大多数观点都认为吉祥图案是中国特有的传统文

化的组成部分，是表现民族历史的一套完整的艺术形式，它承载着传统的中

国人民对幸福和对美好生活的向往和渴望。
