2) 自产食品的说明标签上不用标注生产日期和保质期，在生产日期和保质期的位置应注明

“见电子秤标签”。

The production and expiration dates are not specified on the food description label for self-made items.  The 
information should refer to the scale labels.

3. 由供应商提供的散装食品应由供应商提供按照沃尔玛统一规格制作的食品说明标签(样板如附件)。供应商食

品的说明标签上应清楚地注明生产日期和保质期。如果出现不同生产日期的产品混装展示，按照先进先出的
原则将保质期长的商品放在下面，同时应使用保质期短的食品说明标签。
Vendor should provide the food description labels for their merchandises at each shipment.  The label should be of 
the standard size of WM (see attachment “Food Description Label”).  The production and expiration dates should be 
clearly specified on the labels from vendor.  When same merchandise with different expiration date are displayed 
together, the merchandises with longer shelf lift should be placed on the bottom based on FIFO rule.  And the food 
description label with shorter shelf lift should always be used.

4. 出售供应商生产的散装食品的部门应在磅秤处/柜台备有供应商提供的食品说明标签，随时可以提供给有需要

的顾客。部门员工需要确保这些标签在每次供应商送货时都及时更换。
The food description label for vendor products should be available in the department with these products and can be 
given to customers upon request.  Make sure the labels are rotated every time upon delivery from vendor.

5. 由于中号磅秤标签上打印的生产日期都是当天日期，而有的供应商食品保质期是超过一天的，为了避免误导

顾客，对于生产日期与磅秤日期不符的商品，部门员工在给顾客打包时应将磅秤标签上的生产日期划掉，同
时应主动将供应商的食品说明标签贴在食品包装袋上(比较简便的方法是用磅秤标签把食品说明标签贴在包
装袋上)。
The production date printed on the scale label is always the current date.  However, some vendor products have a 
shelf life more than one day.  To avoid misleading to customers, when the actual production date is different from 
what printed on scale label, the associates should mark off the production date on the scale label with marker when 
he/she packs the food for customer and provide the food description label to the customer.  (A simple way to do this 
is to adhere to food description label to the package by the scale label.)
